Data Deletion Instructions

1. Disconnect a social account

If you only want Trapster to stop accessing a connected platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Twitch):

1. Log in to trapster.gg.
2. Open Settings → Connected platforms.
3. Click Disconnect next to the platform.

Disconnecting immediately revokes our access token for that platform. We stop fetching new data from it. Historical performance metrics for content you already submitted to campaigns are kept until you delete your account, because they back payouts that have been made or are pending.

You can also revoke access from the platform side: Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites; TikTok → Settings → Security → Apps and services; YouTube → Google account → Third-party apps; Twitch → Settings → Connections.

2. Delete your account and all personal data

To permanently delete your Trapster account:

1. Send an email to admin@trapster.gg with the subject "Account deletion request".
2. Send it from the email address registered on your Trapster account. If you signed up through a social login and never set an email, include your platform username so we can verify ownership.
3. We confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3. What gets deleted

• Your account, profile, email, avatar, and password hash.
• All social platform data we received through OAuth: usernames, profile pictures, follower counts, access and refresh tokens, and per-post metrics.
• Content submissions, campaign participation history, and notification preferences.
• Referral links and touchpoints associated with your account.

4. What we keep, and for how long

As described in our Privacy Policy, some records survive account deletion for a limited time:

• Payout and invoice records for up to 7 years, as required by tax and accounting law. These contain your name, payout amounts, and payment method identifiers, but no social platform data.
• Fraud-prevention records for up to 90 days, so a banned account cannot be recreated immediately.
• Anonymized aggregate metrics (campaign totals, average CPM) indefinitely. These cannot be linked back to you.
