Aerosoft
Professional Ship Simulator
The Challenge
Aerosoft was building pre-launch momentum for Professional Ship Simulator — a large-scale maritime sim where you command everything from agile rescue vessels to massive LNG tankers, running precise maneuvers through a living open world of weather and traffic. Realistic sim is a demanding pitch for short-form: it's methodical, and the audience that loves it is scattered and hard to target with paid ads.
The studio needed a fast, measurable wishlist push across the platforms where sim discovery actually happens — without hand-negotiating deals one creator at a time.
The Approach
The campaign opened on Trapster at a $5 CPM across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. 31 creators self-enrolled and shipped 68 videos, with the full budget deployed inside a single day.
Reels carried the campaign hard: Instagram alone delivered 1.34M of the 2.1M tracked views, with the top reel breaking 415,000. Content earned 66,000+ likes at a 3.1% like rate, and because views kept accruing long after creator caps were hit, the effective CPM landed at $0.76 — one of the lowest costs-per-view across any Trapster campaign. Aerosoft added roughly 10,900 Steam wishlists at $0.15 each, tracked in real time from the dashboard.
