The Challenge
Redcable Games was driving wishlists on Off Road Together — a co-op off-road driving sim built around shared lobbies and friend-group runs. They needed a fast discovery spike on Steam that would carry past the initial page push without paying for a long-tail retainer.
The game looks great on video — mud physics, lobby co-op, vehicle customisation — but Redcable hadn't yet built a TikTok/Shorts pipeline and needed a controlled test to measure both reach AND wishlist conversion for short-form creators before scaling further marketing spend.
The Approach
Campaign opened on Trapster across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels at a $5 CPM. 11 vetted creators from the simulation, racing, and co-op niches self-enrolled and posted across all three platforms.
No agency, no scripted reads — creators got Steam keys, a short brief on what makes the lobby loop special, and posted on their own schedule. Redcable watched view velocity climb from the Trapster dashboard, with effective CPM landing at $1.08 — well under benchmark for paid short-form — and 6,000+ Steam wishlists landing within the 7-day window.
