Fracture Point
The Challenge
Fracture Point is a first-person action game about climbing a corporate skyscraper floor by floor: out of prison, back in a dark megacity, and the only way to the man at the top is through every guarded level in between. The Steam page was already moving on its own, adding roughly 1,400 wishlists a day, which made the question sharper than usual.
A page with that kind of organic pace hides a weak campaign easily. The developer wanted to know what creator short-form added on top of the normal rate, not what the page would have collected anyway.
The Approach
The campaign ran tiered CPM pricing at $7 / $6 / $3 across TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, dedicated videos only.
50 creators self-enrolled and published 107 videos, every one of them on the same day. TikTok carried the reach with 853,706 views, one clip alone reaching 414,000, while Reels added 497,761 and Shorts 237,455. Tracked views came to 1,588,922 with 44,000+ likes, and because views kept accruing after creator caps were reached, the effective CPM settled at $1.01.
The developer did the attribution in Steamworks: subtract the page's usual ~1,400 wishlists a day first, then count. What was left over the next two days was 6,600 extra wishlists, about $0.24 each.
